Jordan is our newest graduate school intern. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University. As he is still completing his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University, he is able to offer counseling to individuals, couples, and families for a deep discount allowing for all to access counseling despite means.
One of Jordan’s strengths is his ability to integrate Biblical truth with empirically validated treatment. He employs a strengths-based, hope-focused approach, and when appropriate to the individual, he helps clients capitalize on their relationship with their Heavenly Father.
As a student of marriage and family therapy, Jordan is enthusiastic about strengthening and repairing family bonds. So often, we do our best as spouses to help, love, and respond to our partner; however, our best attempts may still result in confusion and angst. Other times, we have hurt our spouse, and we need to make amends. Jordan cares about helping clients make sense of what is happening, rebuild trust when broken, and nurture a relationship that will weather life’s storms.
Jordan also helps individual clients overcome problems through compassionate one-on-one care. Whether the issue is a problem at work, home, or with friends, clients will receive affirming help.
Jordan has experience with (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, anger, self-image, addiction, relationships, and even career counseling.
Additionally for those who are married or yet to marry, Jordan is a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. PREPARE/ENRICH is an evidence-based tool which has been the most popular premarital and marital assessment for over 35 years. With the aid of the computer-based questionnaire, Jordan creates a tailored approach to each couple based on their most important concerns.
