Graduate Intern

I am a Graduate Student Counselor currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of South Florida, where I provide counseling under supervision as I continue my clinical training. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Psychology from Liberty University. Prior to pursuing counseling, I spent several years working and volunteering with adolescents, teens, and families, supporting them through emotional, relational, spiritual, and personal challenges during important seasons of growth and transition. These experiences inspired me to explore the ways relationships, family dynamics, and communication patterns influence our lives, as well as how meaningful connections can foster growth, resilience, and healing.

As a Marriage and Family Therapy student, I am especially interested in helping people make sense of how their relationships, family experiences, and life circumstances impact their daily lives, including how they communicate, handle conflict, and connect with those around them. I believe therapy can be a meaningful space for growth, healing, and transformation when clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and relational. I value each client’s unique story, strengths, and goals, and I work to create an environment where clients can explore their experiences openly, develop greater self-understanding, and take practical steps toward healthier patterns in their lives and relationships.

I work with individuals, young adults, children, and teens ages 10 and older, couples, pre-marital couples, and families. I support clients who may be experiencing anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, family conflict, communication struggles, or difficulty feeling connected to the people who matter most to them. While I enjoy working with a variety of clients and concerns, I have a particular interest in relational work, including couples, premarital counseling, parent-child relationships, family conflict, and helping clients build healthier patterns of communication and connection.

I am also a certified PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator and utilize this evidence-based assessment and relationship enrichment program with both premarital and married couples. Through this process, couples can strengthen communication, increase understanding, identify areas of growth, and build healthy relationship skills that support a stronger foundation for their future together.

I recognize that Christian faith can play an important role in a person’s healing and growth. For clients who desire it, I am honored to thoughtfully integrate Christian faith and Biblical values into the counseling process in a way that feels supportive, respectful, and authentic to them.
