I AM ADORED: Renewal Exercise
By LeaAnn Casper, LMHC
Here is some scripture to meditate on for those who struggle to remember how much God loves them. When doing the exercise, have someone read it to you, so you can close your eyes and imagine God speaking to you.
Close your eyes and imagine that God is above you sending down his power like a ray of sunshine.
His unconditional love soaks into your body and wraps around you like a warm blanket.
Take a few minutes to feel this beautiful love.
Remove all barriers that tell you to fight it. Those are not from God.
Accept and receive the love He wants to give you.
After a few minutes God begins speaking to you. He whispers these thoughts into your consciousness.
I take great delight in you. I rejoice over you with singing. I quiet you with my love. Zephaniah 3:17
I long to be gracious to you. I rise to show you compassion. Isaiah 30:18
I am leading you on a level path so that you won’t stumble. Jeremiah 31:9
I shield you all day long so that you can rest in me. Deuteronomy 33:12
I give you the desire to obey me and the power to do what pleases me. Philippians 1:13
I promise you I will NEVER forsake you. Hebrews 13:5
I am filled with compassion and mercy for you. Psalm 145:8
When you are bent beneath your load, I will lift your burden. Psalm 146:8.
I answer you when you call me. I encourage you and provide the strength you need. Psalm 138:3
You are my choice possession out of all I have created. James 1:18
YOU ARE MY MASTERPIECE. Ephesians 2:10
