REGISTERED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR INTERN (IMH 17599)
Alex is a Mental Health Counselor Registered Intern who earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social work from the University of Georgia.
Alex specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is passionate about providing a safe space for clients to be vulnerable as they seek relief, understanding, and growth through counseling. She has experience working in child welfare and residential treatment facilities with individuals of all ages from infancy to adulthood.
Alex is from Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Tampa four years ago to pursue her dream of being a counselor. Alex is actively involved in Younglife and Wyldlife and has a passion for ministering to the younger generation.
When she is not in the office, she enjoys hanging with teenagers she mentors, taking her dog Lucy to the dog park, and enjoying time with family and friends.
